Radiant Glo Medi Spa was born from a deeply personal turning point — a commitment to help every client feel truly special, inside and out. Founder and Medical Aesthetician Valerie Calia first fell in love with the world of aesthetics right after high school. She set her sights high, working her way to a position with one of the world's largest cosmetic companies — a goal she had carried since her teenage years.
But life, as it often does, took her down a different road. For over 30 years, Valerie's passion for beauty and skin care simmered quietly beneath the surface of another life. Then, in May 2016, a life-changing personal experience brought everything into sharp focus. It was time to return to what she had always loved — and to do it with even greater purpose and expertise. She returned to the beauty industry as a certified Medical Aesthetician, equipped with advanced knowledge, professional-grade tools, and an unshakeable mission: to help others glow, both inside and out. Today, Radiant Glo Medi Spa operates as a private, home-based medical spa at 31 Buena Vista Ave in Scarborough, Ontario. Valerie works exclusively one-to-one with each client — dedicating her full attention, expertise, and care to every single appointment. "Allowing individuals to feel special was my new mission in life — along with making me feel better by helping others feel better," says Valerie. With over 35 years of experience in the beauty and wellness industry, Valerie brings unparalleled expertise, warmth, and dedication to every client she sees. Her career began in aesthetics fresh out of high school, driven by a passion for helping people feel their most confident and beautiful.
She went on to fulfil a lifelong goal of working with one of the world's largest cosmetic companies, building a deep foundation of knowledge in professional skin care, products, and treatments. After more than three decades, a life-changing personal event in 2016 inspired her to return to her first love — and to take it further than ever before, this time as a fully certified Medical Aesthetician.
Now operating Radiant Glo Medi Spa from her private home-based studio in Scarborough, Valerie offers women aged 35 to 60 a truly personalized skin care experience unlike anything found at a commercial spa. She combines advanced clinical treatments with a deeply nurturing, one-to-one approach — ensuring every client leaves not just with better skin, but with renewed confidence and a sense of being truly looked after.
